1. General information and decision-support only

Quote Assist provides general quote review, document review, quote clarity and decision-support services only.

Our services are intended to help you better understand documents, quotes, estimates, proposals, inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, unclear wording, potential risks and possible questions to ask suppliers before making a decision.

Our services are not intended to replace your own judgement or advice from appropriately qualified or licensed professionals.

2. Not professional or licensed advice

mechanical systems;
supplier workmanship;
contractor performance; or
any physical goods, site conditions or installations.

Because we do not physically inspect the relevant property, goods, works, installation or site, our review may not identify defects, safety issues, compliance issues, structural issues, installation issues, workmanship issues, hidden conditions, site-specific risks or other matters that could only be identified through inspection or specialist assessment.

4. Based on information provided by you

Our reviews, comments, reports, summaries and recommendations are based on the documents and information you provide to us.

We do not independently verify every fact, measurement, price, licence, warranty, technical claim, supplier statement, market rate, compliance requirement or site condition.

6. No guarantee of outcome

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quote Assist does not guarantee:

supplier performance;
workmanship;

savings;
negotiation outcomes;
refund outcomes;
dispute avoidance;
defect detection;
hidden cost detection;
all exclusions being identified;
all risks being identified;

supplier reliability;

quote completeness;
contract fairness; or
that a particular quote, supplier or purchase is the best available option.

Our service is intended to help you identify possible issues, ask better questions and make a more informed decision. It does not remove all risk from a purchase, supplier, contract or project.

7. Not a substitute for contract review

Quote Assist may identify unclear wording, missing scope, exclusions, assumptions, payment risks, warranty issues or questions to ask suppliers.

However, our review is not a legal review of a contract and does not replace advice from a lawyer.

If you are entering into a building contract, renovation contract, supply agreement, finance agreement, solar installation contract or any other legally binding agreement, you should consider obtaining independent legal advice before signing.

8. Not a substitute for technical inspection or certification
